teaching kids to chase light

For 8 years now I've taught high schoolers how to chase light with cameras, documenting their individual and collective journeys along the way. I often capture unexpected moments of emotion, both joyful and somber, as well as quiet moments of introspection and boisterous moments of shared fun. Every day affords me with new opportunities and challenges, and they often teach me more about observing the world than I feel I teach them about topics such as composition and lighting.
